The tables below show the gains and losses both on the last book and compared to the previous year. If a direct comparison, via the time slot, cannot be made during the comparison – then that programme is not mentioned. So, for example in the year on year gains table, Breakfast Republic is excluded as the time slots are totally different year on year. They are included in the book on book tables as it’s a direct comparison.

With 2FM you can only compare the books and not the years due to the format changes. The station is still failing to hemorrhage the listenership flight even after a much awaited change in programming. Breakfast, Nicky and Tracy all in high percentage falls. The Graph below tells the story nicely.

The station dropped marginally Nationally, but a little heavier in Dublin. Anton looks as if he’s put the brakes on the decline since taking over from Ray. Dermot and Dave down a little, Louise Duffy’s last book shows a good improvement and Matt is up 5% (7,000) and, in that, leaps ahead of George Hook.
